Car Insurance Fraud Protection

Beating the system
In these difficult economic times we all know how important it is to protect ourselves against the Swoop and Squat insurance scam. This widely-hyped con, purportedly on the rise as people look for ways to make money that also involve potential life-ending injury, consists in the scammer pulling directly in front of a car and slamming on the brakes causing an accident that appears to be the victim’s fault.
In response to the overwhelming demand to kill the fear by buying stuff buy we at FST have decided it would be a good idea for someone to invent a machine to insulate honest, hardworking citizens against the literally billions of scam artists who spend all their free time thinking of ways to take your money. (A statistic worth mentioning is that these people want your money even worse if you live in the Mid-West. No one knows why).
This invention − which we’re thinking will be named “The Fraud Preventer” − is a telescoping device that’s installed under your car. For every 10 miles-per-hour of speed you attain, the device projects 16.4 feet of pipe in front of and behind your car.
Based on safe-driving manual’s direction that for every 10 miles per hour you drive there should be one car space between you and the next car, The Fraud Preventer works because it forces people to adopt the practice whenever another car is around yours.
The telescoping pipes are equipped with sensors that produce an ear-splitting alarm as another car approaches them. This has the effect of warding off other less safe (and let’s face it flat out reckless) drivers who would slide into the huge gap between you and whatever car you happen to be following.
Given that Volvo seems to be the leader in decision-making cars right now − their cars won’t let you drive distracted − we at FST believe they should have the first opportunity to develop this protective system. Especially since. in all likelihood, they already have something like this in the works.

Congress.
We expect the U.S. Congress, as loyal employees of the insurance lobby, to enact legislation making The Fraud Protector mandatory on every auto within the next decade or so. If you’re a stock-buying type of person, get a piece of Volvo while you can still afford it.
