About

This is me. Digitally enhanced for cool.
I live in Delmar, Md. with my wife and most of my four daughters (one’s at college). When I’m not writing for leisure I’m writing for pay as a staffer at the Bayside Gazette. If I’m doing neither I’m playing Mario Kart to keep from smoking.
In addition to the three to four kids who might be lurking anywhere at anytime there are two dogs and two cats, the result of combining one cat/one dog households.
I’m really, Really, trying to learn to love Delmar specifically and Delmarva (the creative moniker for our Delaware/Maryland/Virginia peninsula) as a whole.
I struggle.
A lot.
The Viva Delmarva page is my attempt to learn to enjoy what we have, rather than bitch about the lack of things to do here.
As an overweight white guy with intellectual pretensions I thought blogging about leaving my house would be my opportunity to do something unexpected. ‘Cause you know how I hate cliches.
